Loft Bed Extreme Makeover

A loft bed that may be raised to create study space underneath is scheduled to be featured on ABC TV/'s "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" on Sept. 27.

In these tough economic times when many families can't afford to move into a larger living spaces the beds provide a way to make the most of small bedrooms, guest rooms and home offices.

Youth Loft Beds that are hand-built in the USA from unfinished wood are the braindchild of John Vence of Elmira, NY, who invented the more grown-up version College Loft Beds.

Do-it-yourself hardware kits and loft plans also are available for people who are handy or have more time than they do money.

Enough space is available for a desk and bookshelves and custom designed built-ins with those features are sold.

This bed looks very nice. If I were goldilocks, I would sleep in it.
